Designul slim nu are ca rol doar estetica, ci faciliteaza mult manevrabilitatea minciogului in momentul contactului cu apa, gradul de absortie fiind foarte scazut. Elasticitatea materialelor din care este fabricat ajuta la montarea cu usurinta pe orice model de coada de minciog, fixarea se realizeaza cu ajutorul benzii velcro.
